Project Serve 08!

With project Serve, my life is filled with wonders

The duration of the basic induction programme is 10 weeks. From Jan-Mar 2008, there will be
a total of 60 working days. Extensions are encouraged for those of you with a longer vacation.
The level of training and exposure will increase for those of you who will extend your participation
beyond 10 weeks.

In the course of this induction programme, you will have a personal supervisor who will ensure
your learning and provide guidance at all times. You will also learn to depend on God for your
needs when you raise your own allowance for food and transport

What can you definitely look forward to:

1. Adventure Orientation Camp.
Start off with a bang! There's no better way to get to know Christian youths from different churches
than to join your fellow project servants in a 4-day 3-night adventure camp. If you think "Survivor"
and dream "Amazing Race", this camp will challenge your limits and anchor you in a new team.

2. Overseas Mission Trip - China, Thailand, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Macau.
Be part of a sports cultural exchange group - Sing, dance, make music in a variety show concert
- Teach English and tell stories - Work with the Street Kids - Be the Media crew of a mission trip and
capture the highs and lows in photos and videos. Experience another culture by being part of that culture
for a week.

3. Pounding the Streets.
Familiar with your own neighbourhood? Gone beyond your usual hangouts at Orchard Road or Suntec City?
What's the bigger world outside your usual hangouts like? Let's explore new neighbourhoods and
learn to identify students from different school. Come meet the youths where they are. See how God
can use us to reach them for Christ.

4. The Garage.
Ever organised an event for 300 lively young people? How do we reach youths when they come in hundreds?
Be part of the team that transforms an ordinary car park into an extraordinary cafe with live band performances
and games. And if you think you can sing, act or emcee, sign up for the audition. Otherwise, take a seat
and we'll show you how to share the gospel using this youthful program.
